1:01AM - Steadman

I feel blessed and lucky. Last week, I got to interview Ralph Steadman for the show. He is one of my all time fav modern day artists. I did the interview with the help of Chris Clarke, on of the people that keeps Pulp Fiction books, the best store in town. In the interview, we discuss his art, a little personal history and a bunch of stuff about Hunter S. Thompson. You can check out the interview at www.crowncommission.com/inkstuds.

i will be airing the interview today at 2pm on www.citr.ca and you all should listen.

The podcast site has been updated with lots of awesome interviews, including Joe Sacco, Chester Brown and much much more. http://www.crowncommission.com/inkstuds.

And next week, I will be joined by Ed Brisson, Colleen Macisacc and Jordyn F. Bochon to discuss You Ain't No Dancer, Vol 2

I feel kind of humbled and honoured by getting the chance to interview Ralph Steadman. Ralph is one of the premiere artists of the 20th century. His work as artistic companion to Hunter S. Thompson in the fine world of Gonzo Journalism is only out done by his incredible solo work. I was joined in the interview by Chris Clarke of Pulp Fiction books for a very facinating hour of chat with Ralph. He was an incredible guest and a true gentleman. He is currently promoting his latest book, The Joke’s Over, Ralphs memoirs of his time with Hunter S. Thompson, leading upto his untimely death. We also talked alot about Ralph’s artwork and whole lot of other stuff. This was one of my favorite interviews that I have ever done.
