Love and Rockets double shot

This week on the show, our guest will be Jaime Hernandez. Jaime for those that know nothing about comix, is one of the incredibley talented brothers behind Love and Rockets(the comic). Jaime is the brother behind Maggie and Hopey, aka the Locas storyline, which is awesome stuff. He was recently published in the New York Times sunday edition for a Locas storyline that had probably his largest readership yet. As a bonus, next week, we will be joined by his very talented brother, Gilbert Hernandez.

While this is being aired, CITR is doing a Fund Drive, and my part of the fund drive, will be some books available courtesy of Raincoast books, for purchase as part of the Fund Drive.

man, I start work at 2:30. until the last minute, I sit in my car out front, every week, and listen to your show.
it was *beautiful*. it was.

thank dog for podcasts. I smiled all afternoon. can't wait to hear the rest.

When I visit http://inkstuds.livejournal.com/ , I'm afraid it will crash my browser because browser has to load 20 inkstuds entries.

I hope you'll reduce the number of LJ entries per page.

I thought I'd finally listen to your Gilbert Hernandez interview tonight but don't see it...

ack, we never did a chance to interview Beto, When i had him scheduled, i was in recovery from the unfortunate tooth extraction, and unable to talk for any amount of time, and had to cancel. I hope one day we will have him on. In the mean time, check out his new book, New Tales of Old Palomar from the Ignatz line of books from Fanta, as well, the new reprint collection of love and rockets should be coming out soon.


Annnnnddd next weekend, Los Bros will be in Seattle doing a signing at the Fantagraphics store.
